Outreach Services include coordination of services for clients, as well as serving as an advocate for clients who cannot or do not know how to obtain services for their unique situation(s). Provides information on what services are available for each situation in each county. Distributes information on programs from other agencies or companies that may be of need to the client. Outreach programs also maintains a list of jobs available in the areas they serve.

What Can I Do When I Cannot Afford My Utility Bills?
  • First Contact the utility company to work out a payment plan.
  • Do not let your service be cut off before seeking assistance.
  • Contact your local Community Action Agency for assistance with one of the assistance programs.
Who is eligible for these programs?
  • Low-income families
  • Qualifying Utilities
  • Those families meeting the requirements for assistance.
How do I apply for these programs?
  • Contact your local Community Action Agency office and schedule or drop by the office to fill out an application.
  • Print out an application from this web site and mail it in to your Community Action Agency.
I am not able to pay my rent and purchase food for my family, what do I do?
  • Contact your local Community Action Agency.
  • Assistance is just a phone call or visit away.

Being prepared for the worst sometimes is not enough. 

Having what you need to get you through in times of trouble can be a struggle.
